Rights to compete
All competitors which complete entry form before 01.12.2014 and pay the entry fee have
the rights to compete, upon the boats are »sold out« (13 x elan 350 one design available).

Event format
The regatta will consist on 4 offshore races in total lenght of 205 Nm and 3 inshore technical
races.

Rules
The regatta will be governed by:
• ISAF RRS 2013 – 2016;
• ISAF Offshore special regulations (2008-2009) category 3 races;
• after the sunset »collision rules« apply, wich changes rules part 2 RRS.
• this notice of race;
• race notifications;
• special notices of RC, wich will be displayed at least one hour before each start.

Category
The regatta will be held on monotype sailing yacht’s ELAN 350 ONE DESIGN. The sailing
yacht’s will be organized by the organizer of the event. The crew’s will get the sailing yacht’s
on the first sailing day in Biograd na Moru. Racing on other boats will not be possible.
Number of sailing yacht’s is 13 and it is final!

Scoring
The race will be scored on the Low point scoring system, appendix A. The regatta is valid if
there are at least 2 races sailed. After race nr. 4 (four) one race will be discharge. Inshore
technical races will be scored separately.

Sportsmanship and the rules

Competitors in the sport of sailing are governed by a body of rules that they are expected to
follow and enforce. A fundamental principle of sportsmanship is that when competitors
break a rule they will promptly take a penalty, which may be to retire.

Disclamer
All those taking part in the event do so at their own risk. The RC, its asociates and appointees
accept no responsibility for any loss, demage or inconvinience incurred, howsoever caused.
The skipper should take in his own liability wether he and his crew are capable to start, sail
and proceed with the race if wether conditions are getting bad . He is also respnsable for
the sailing yacht and the mooring for it.
At all the time all competitors should wear lifejackets!

Crew
All skippers and the crew’s must be verifyed by their national sailing federation. Minimum
nuber of the crew is 6 (six), maximum number of the crew is 8 (eight). The crew shouldn’t
change without permition of the RC between regatta. All crew changes should be reported
to RC. Racing with less than 6 (six) crew members will not be allowed.

ENTRIES:
The skipper should complete the entry form and pay all the fees before the race starts.
Charter of the sailing yacht Elan 350 with gennaker and final cleaning: 2.200 EUR
Entry fee: 400 EUR per sailing yacht
Entry fee: 30 EUR / competitor

Price includes:
– charter of the sailing yacht ELAN 350 with gennaker from sat 04.4.2015 till sat
11.4.2015
– final cleaning of the sailing yacht
– final dinner in Portorož
– prizes
– organization and support

Price exclude:

– transportation to Biograd and from Portorož
– mooring fees
– other food and drinks
– turist tax
– eventual parking fees

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams in offshore and inshore races. All teams will
get some provisional prizes.

Completed and scanned entry form should be send till 01.12.2014
to e-mail dane@burinboats.com or info@kon-tiki.si , the entry is valid when nonrefundable 600 eur is
payed. All entry fees should be payed in total until 1.st of march 2015.

The regatta will be sailed between Biograd na Moru (CRO) – Venice (ITA) – Portorož (SLO)
